Career Center Internship Award Overview

Each academic year the Career Center provides internship awards to students participating in an internship experience at CSUSB in order to make themselves more marketable and competitive upon graduation.

This year the Career Center plans to award selected students with $1,000 each in scholarships towards their Fall 2023 internship.

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Participate in an internship experience during the Fall 2023 semester.

  2. Open to currently enrolled freshmen, sophomore, juniors, seniors, and graduate students
    Good Academic Standing (Meets Satisfactory Academic Progress).

  3. Complete Internship Award Application.

  4. Priority will be given to students that meet the eligibility criteria and are participating in an unpaid internship.

Deadline to apply: Friday, October 27th, 2023

*Applications Open Friday October 13, 2023 at 2PM

Is the internship award open to all students?
Yes, students that are currently enrolled and participating in an internship experience are encouraged to apply.

Do I need to upload a resume within my Career Center Award Application?
Yes, students are required to upload a resume as part of the application process. We encourage students to visit the Career Center during drop-in hours for on the spot resume feedback. Learn more in our Career Center home page.

 

When will I receive a decision on my Career Center Internship Award application? 

Students will be notified December 1st, 2023 on the application decision.

 

If selected, when will I receive the Career Center Internship Award funds?
The Career Center Internship Award will be disbursed directly to each student's account 3-4 weeks from the application decision.

 

If I have an account balance and I am selected, will I receive my Career Center Internship Award?

The Career Center Internship Award will be disbursed directly to each student's account 3-4 weeks from the application decision and will go directly towards any remaining balance.
